SBGRPG Troubleshooting

You will need to right click on Super Body Games RPG.app and then click open to get around an Apple verification issue. (Be sure to move the Super Body Games RPG.app file into your applications folder before opening, or you won’t be able to save your game.)

As of this time, Super Body Games RPG does not run on macOS Catalina (10.15) or higher. Apple no longer allows for the distribution of apps based on either OpenGL and/or 32-bit processor architectures, which is system enforced beginning with macOS Catalina. This directly affects what our app needs to run properly. It’s a major bummer.

Here are a few options for Catalina users:

  1. Use Bootcamp to run Windows on your Mac, then download the PC version.
  2. Downgrade your macOS to Mojave.
  3. Play on another machine.

Do not remove the Game.exe file from the Super Body Games RPG folder. Creating a shortcut is fine, but the file needs to remain in this folder.

You must manually move the Super Body Games RPG.app file into your Mac applications folder, or you won’t be able to save your game.

We’ve fixed this bug. Here’s a video with details on how to update your game (without losing your save file). Note that this only applies to users who downloaded the PC version of the game prior to August 30th, 2020.
